
Have you ever tried Fried Plantains? If you have ever been to a Caribbean Country chances are you know this delicious fried bites and are already hooked on them.
They are so so easy you won't believe it, and they go very well as a side dish or to share with friends!
Ingredients:
2 Green Plantains
1 tsp. Sea Salt
1 tsp. Garlic Powder
Vegetable oil to fry
Steps:
1. Cut the plantains in 1 cm thick discs.
2. Heat oil to high (180°C) and fry them until they are lighter in color (about 10 minutes).
3. Remove from the oil, drain and remove excess oil. Flatten the discs using a cutting table.
4. Fry them again until they are golden and crunchy. Remove excess oil using kitchen towels and add salt and garlic powder.
